How to Show a Color Bar Instead of Background Color?

SideNotes allows you to choose a color of a note. Since SideNotes 1.3, by default, the whole note gets the background color. The previous version had a color bar. You can choose which way you want your notes to be.

  1. Open Preferences (simply press CMD. or
  2. click the cog button in the right-bottom corner of the folder list and choose Preferences)
  3. Open Appearance tab
  4. Find Note Colors and choose Background or Bar.
