Apptorium Releases SideNotes 1.6

Zielona Gora, Poland, May 11, 2026 — Apptorium today announced the release and immediate availability of SideNotes 1.6, a major update to its macOS note-taking app that lives on the edge of the screen. SideNotes helps users capture ideas, tasks, links, and snippets without leaving their current workflow.

Version 1.6 introduces a broad set of features focused on faster note management, deeper customization, and smoother editing. The update adds note folding and pinning, redesigned app settings, improved formatting tools, and new language support.

Bug Fixes and Stability

  • Fixed disabling drop-to-side not working.
  • Fixed note bottom bar disappearing when Share popover is shown.
  • Fixed note colors not working when note background is disabled.
