No, TeaCode is not strictly a snippet manager.
TeaCode is an app that replaces short patterns into the real code. Code is "generated" using a simple language that consists of variables, filters, optional patterns, and subexpressions (you can use one expression in another one).
Comparing to well-known snippet managers it does not put any tokens into the code (see Xcode) nor asks the user to fill the variables in another window (see Dash).
TeaCode has over 80 built-in expanders (that's how we call our "snippets") and lets you define your own.
